Hibbelin
This modern custom home features 30′ ceilings and tremendous windows, allowing light to fill the central area of the house. This area is open from above, which allows the house to be flooded with natural light at any point in the day. The coffered ceiling features complete clerestory as well as the living room and the stairwell below. The combination of flat roofs, large overhangs, impressive wall heights, and the elevator shaft makes this custom home anything but ordinary.
Strathcona County
Constructed with a double wall system to accomplish a Net Zero Envelope, this custom home has an insulation value of R55 throughout. This project doesn’t have a single element overlooked. It is a perfect combination of impressive engineering and modern architecture. Featuring massive overhangs, 26′ ceilings, double cantilevers and hollow-core concrete construction for added square footage underneath the garage, this home is truly a sight to behold.
Birch
This modern take on the traditional craftsman style house suites the older neighbourhood and developed trees that line the front street. The 9:12 pitch roof gives it a timeless character inside and out, and allows for plenty of living space on the second floor.
Hart Valley
Resting just above the Hart River valley, this custom two storey home pours in light through its south facing great room windows. The open to above great room features 25' high ceilings as well as a custom beam running along the peak. A pedway spans between the upstairs kids bedrooms and the master bedroom allowing for a large ensuite and walk-in closet. The pantry, as well as every other closet in the house is outfitted with built in shelving allowing the new owners to maximize storage in every situation. A dropped bulkhead around the perimeter of the kitchen cabinets matches the barn doors that mirror the fir mantel over the fireplace.
